The preparation processes of carbon ceramics mainly include chemical vapor deposition and precursor transformation method. Chemical vapor deposition involves first preparing carbon disks (i.e. weaving carbon fibers into the shape designed for the product), and then fumigating them with hydrogen containing chlorosilane under certain temperature conditions, repeating this process multiple times until densification occurs. The liquid immersion process also requires the preparation of carbon disks, the preparation of polysilane or polycarbosilane, and then under vacuum, nitrogen or argon protection, the polysilane or polycarbosilane is infiltrated into the carbon disk, reheated, and repeated multiple times until densification.
